Aiming for the global market, PYFA acquires a pharmaceutical company in Australia

Jakarta, December 22, 2023 – Pyridam Farma, through its subsidiary established in Australia, PYFA Australia Pty Ltd, plans to acquire Probiotec Limited by signing a Scheme Implementation Deed (SID) on December 21, 2023, which is a binding conditional agreement in connection with the plan of Pyridam Farma’s subsidiary to acquire all issued shares of Probiotec Limited.

Probiotec Limited is one of the largest Australian pharmaceutical companies in the field of manufacturing, partnering with global players such as Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, iNova, Blackmores, and others for various drugs and other consumer health products.

CEO Pyridam Farma, Lee Yan Gwan, said,
