JAKARTA, July 31, 2026 – PT Pyridam Farma Tbk (IDX: PYFA) recorded significant improvements in its operational performance throughout the first half (H1) of 2026. According to its latest information disclosure, the Company posted a net revenue of Rp1,617.52 billion (Rp1.62 trillion), representing a 16.8% growth compared to Rp1,385.40 billion in the same period of 2025. The Company’s operating loss was almost entirely eliminated, driven by disciplined efficiency measures and strengthened demand for Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) services in both Indonesia and Australia.
Revenue growth was primarily supported by robust sales from Probiotec in Australia, which continued to record positive performance amid a challenging economic landscape. The contribution from the Indonesian entities remained relatively stable as the Company continued its portfolio restructuring initiatives to strengthen its future profitability profile. The top-line improvement was also driven by business model optimization and efficiency across various operational processes, which successfully reduced production expenses.
Gross profit grew by 27% to Rp373.13 billion, with the gross profit margin strengthening to 23% from 21% in H1 2025. This improvement was primarily driven by a reduction in raw material costs through procurement savings initiatives, as well as a more efficient absorption of fixed production costs aligned with increased sales volumes.
Director of PYFA, Sinta Ningsih, explained that the achievements in the first half of 2026 are the result of consistent efficiency measures. The Company continuously strives to reduce operational costs across various lines without compromising product quality. These strategic steps have proven capable of improving the cost structure and strengthening the company’s financial fundamentals.
“We are seeing consistent improvements in the Company’s operational performance, reflected in revenue growth accompanied by gross profit margin improvement and a significant reduction in operating loss. This is the result of disciplined cost efficiency, the strengthening of our high value-added product portfolio, and the contribution of our CDMO services. We will continue to focus on accelerating profitability improvements moving forward, in line with the manufacturing capacity expansion project for Production Line 4 following the completion of Production Line 3 at PT Ethica Industri Farmasi,” said Sinta Ningsih.
The Company continues to demonstrate substantial operational performance enhancements. This is reflected in the operating loss, which almost reached the break-even point, plummeting by 99% from Rp68.40 billion to a mere Rp0.38 billion. Concurrently, the net loss for the period also improved by 16%, from Rp213.20 billion to Rp178.28 billion, reflecting the effectiveness of various transformation initiatives and efficiency enhancements implemented by the Company.
Reaffirming its commitment to manufacturing excellence, PYFA, through its subsidiary PT Ethica Industri Farmasi, has successfully completed the construction of Production Line 3. This newly completed line is designed to address the increasing national demand for sterile injectable medicines, particularly for hospital services and government healthcare programs. With the commercial operation of Line 3 underway, the Company is currently focusing its physical construction efforts on Production Line 4, which is specifically designed for different pharmaceutical dosage forms to expand the product portfolio in the future.
Moving forward, the Company will remain focused on its core strategies: strengthening its highly-licensed pharmaceutical product portfolio, optimizing distribution networks, expanding manufacturing capacity through the completion of Production Line 4, and developing integrated healthcare business lines to accelerate the achievement of sustainable profitability.
