PYFA Distributes Tens of Thousands of Vitamin Supplements to Support Health Recovery for Disaster Victims in NTT and Kalimantan

JAKARTA, September 23, 2026 – In response to recent natural disasters affecting parts of Indonesia, PT Pyridam Farma Tbk (IDX: PYFA) has provided a total of 23,750 vitamin supplements to support the health and recovery of communities impacted by the earthquake in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) and the forest and land fire (Karhutla) crisis in Kalimantan. This initiative reflects the company’s commitment to standing with vulnerable communities during critical times.

Prioritizing direct protection for high-risk groups, PYFA ensured that relief supplies reached critical distribution points. A total of 12,750 tablets of PYFAHEALTH Multivitamin were delivered directly to haze-affected regions in Kalimantan to help residents maintain immunity. Meanwhile, to support disaster survivors in NTT, the company distributed 18,430 tablets of D3-400 Tab and 1,000 tablets of Feroplus Effervescent to help evacuees regain energy and stamina.

According to official data from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, the forest fire haze crisis from July to August 2026 resulted in at least 50,891 cases of Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI/ISPA). This reality reflects the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Nutrition in Emergencies guidelines, which emphasize that malnutrition and mortality from secondary illnesses can spike during humanitarian crises. The WHO strongly recommends rapid micronutrient supplementation, including Vitamin D, Vitamin A, and Iron as a life-saving intervention for populations in displacement camps facing disrupted nutrition access.

The total value of the aid distributed to date exceeds IDR 75 million. PYFA will maintain an active response team and closely monitor post-disaster recovery efforts.
