Description

COMPOSITION :
Each tablet contains 500 mg Paracetamol.
Each 0.6 mL  ( = 12 drops ) contains 60 mg Paracetamol.

ACTIONS  :
Paracetamol has an analgesic and antipyretic properties. The analgesic effect of Pyridol is due to its selective depression to
pain receptor in the hypothalamus. Paracetamol has a direct effect in the heat-regulating central in the central nervous system.
Leading to reduction of body temperature by increasing peripheral blood circulation through perspiration.

INDICATIONS  :
To reduce body temperature. Relief of pain in headache, dysmenorrhoea, myalgia, toothache and teething period in babies,
fever after vaccination

DOSAGE :
Tablet :
Adults :  1-2 tablets, 3-4 times daily.
Children 7-12 years : ½ – 1  tablet, 3-4 times daily.

Drops :
Children  2-5 years : 12 – 30 drops, 3-4 times daily
< 2 years : 6 – 12 drops, 3-4 times daily.

CONTRAINDICATIONS :
Patients with liver dysfunction or hypersensitive to paracetamol.

PRECAUTION :
Do not exceed the recommended dose as it may cause liver impairment.
Caution should be taken in patients with renal disorder.
If after 2 days there is no reduction in body temperature  or pain persist after 5 days , consults a doctor.

SIDE EFFECTS :
High dose may cause liver impairment.
