PYFA Expands CSR Commitment by Providing a One-Year Supply of Vitamins to Bumi Sehat Foundation and Sungai Watch
Bali, 21 January 2026 – PT Pyridam Farma Tbk (PYFA) continues to expand the reach of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives through the Gerakan Sejuta Vitamin (One Million Vitamins Movement) program. Over the past year, the Company has strengthened collaborations with prominent foundations and organizations to enhance the impact of its CSR strategy, aligning it with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. At the beginning of 2026, this commitment was realized through CSR partnerships with two well-known non-governmental organizations (NGOs): Bumi Sehat Foundation and Sungai Watch.
Bumi Sehat Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides free healthcare services, focusing on maternal, child, and family health. The foundation was established by Robin Lim, an internationally recognized humanitarian figure who has previously collaborated on CSR initiatives with major institutions such as Australian Aid and Maybank. Meanwhile, Sungai Watch is an environmental organization based in Bali, founded in 2020 with the primary mission of stopping plastic pollution in Indonesian rivers before it reaches the ocean.
As part of its commitment to community health and environmental sustainability, PYFA is implementing the Gerakan Sejuta Vitamin program by providing a one-year supply of essential vitamins and health supplements to both organizations. The program aims to support the health of mothers, children, and the elderly, as well as the Sungai Warriors, ensuring that their health and stamina remain well maintained.
Through this program, PYFA distributes vitamin packages carefully curated to meet the specific needs of the beneficiaries. For Bumi Sehat Foundation, the assistance focuses on children’s vitamins to support immunity and growth, as well as calcium supplements to help maintain bone density for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers and the elderly.
Meanwhile, for Sungai Watch, PYFA provides multivitamin and mineral packages designed to maintain stamina and help restore the physical energy of volunteers engaged in demanding field activities.
As a demonstration of the Company’s commitment, the symbolic handover of the vitamin supply was conducted by PYFA President Director Lee Yan Gwan, accompanied by Jessica Walters, President Director of Probiotec, to Robin Lim, Founder of Bumi Sehat Foundation, and I Made Dwi Bagiasa, representative of Sungai Watch.
“For us, CSR represents a long-term humanitarian and social initiative aimed at improving equitable access to healthcare across Indonesia. Public health is the foundation of a strong nation. Therefore, efforts to improve public health and address environmental challenges, such as managing waste to create cleaner environments and reduce flood risks cannot be carried out sporadically, but must be sustained over time.
This commitment is reflected in our one-year partnership with Bumi Sehat Foundation and Sungai Watch,” said Lee Yan Gwan.
The partnership was warmly welcomed by Robin Lim, Founder of Bumi Sehat Foundation.
The humanitarian figure, who was once awarded CNN Hero of the Year, emphasized the importance of collaboration between corporations and humanitarian workers in addressing gaps in healthcare services that are not yet fully accessible.
“On the ground, we witness firsthand how crucial access to quality vitamins and nutrition is. Often, attention is focused on babies, while forgetting that a healthy mother is the key to a healthy baby, and healthy elders are the guardians of family wisdom. PYFA’s support and year-long commitment throughout 2026 provide our medical team with the ‘breathing space’ to work with greater peace of mind and serve more patients in need, regardless of their economic background, ” said Robin Lim.
Sungai Watch also welcomed the collaboration. A representative from the Sungai Watch operational team noted that post-flood conditions present significant challenges in the field, both physically and in terms of health, particularly due to exposure to extreme weather and less-than-ideal working environments.
“Cleaning waste barriers after floods requires strong stamina and physical endurance. The vitamin support from PYFA greatly helps our team stay fit and focused, allowing river restoration efforts to proceed more effectively, ” said Bani, Project Officer at Sungai Watch.
Through this initiative, PYFA hopes to contribute directly to improving the health of mothers, children, and the elderly, while also creating a positive impact cycle that supports the well-being of river guardians so that river restoration efforts can run optimally, while simultaneously helping reduce flood risks and water pollution. This initiative is aligned with the Company’s vision to advance national health through high-quality products and meaningful actions that directly benefit the broader community.
