In the Pharmanova event held at the ITB Campus, Bandung, on Saturday, October 11, 2025, PYFA’s Corporate Communication and Human Resources teams were invited to share deep insights into the dynamics of the pharmaceutical industry and career tips within the field.

“The opportunity to be present on campus and share experiences with students is a form of our commitment to bridging the academic and industrial worlds. Through this session, we want to help the younger generation understand career opportunities in the ever-evolving pharmaceutical industry, as well as inspire them to become future talents contributing to the progress of Indonesian healthcare,” said Joshua Sandjaja, Associate Vice President of Human Resources at PYFA.

In the interactive session, Leilani Nadia Kusuma, a representative of PYFA Corporate Communication, explained that the modern pharmaceutical industry is now open to talent from various backgrounds, not just science and healthcare. Technological developments and innovation require contributions from diverse expertise to drive sustainable business growth. Through this session, students were invited to take a closer look at the career process in the pharmaceutical industry, ranging from sought-after qualifications and selection stages to the values and work culture that are part of PYFA.

ITB welcomed the collaboration warmly. Muhammad Azhari, Student Affairs Coordinator of the ITB School of Pharmacy, assessed that industry involvement like PYFA’s is crucial for enriching student insights. “Students today have many conveniences thanks to technological developments and access to information. By utilizing platforms like LinkedIn, they can build professional networks and collaborate with the industrial world much more easily,” he said.

Meanwhile, Jean Bernadett William, Chairperson of Pharmanova, also appreciated PYFA’s presence. “We are very happy and grateful for PYFA’s presence. The material presented really opened our insights regarding career opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry. This made us further understand that the pharmaceutical industry is not limited to drug manufacturing, but is a vast world for innovation,” she expressed.

Collaboration with educational institutions like ITB is part of PYFA’s commitment to developing superior human resources in Indonesia. This activity is also part of PYFA’s routine Campus Engagement program, which aims to bring the world of education closer to industry needs.

Throughout this year, PYFA has participated in similar activities at several universities, including Parahyangan Catholic University (Unpar), Jenderal Achmad Yani University (Unjani), and the University of Indonesia (UI).
