Pyridam Farma (PYFA) Supports Environmental Conservation Through Cleanup Action & Tree Planting at Mount Munara

Bogor, December 09, 2025 – PT Pyridam Farma Tbk (PYFA) is once again expanding the reach of its care, this time targeting environmental health. Collaborating with LAZ Al Azhar through the Alventure program, PYFA fully supported a social action for nature conservation located at Mount Munara, Bogor Regency.

This initiative combines the spirit of young volunteers with real action in the form of a Clean Up (waste collection) and reforestation (tree planting). This step serves as proof that synergy between the business world (corporations), social institutions, and the community is the primary key to facing the challenges of climate change and environmental degradation.

The activity began in the morning with high enthusiasm from volunteers carrying a mission to leave a mark of kindness. The main session took place through a hiking trip by the participants. Along the climbing route, participants actively picked up trash while simultaneously planting tree seedlings as an integral part of a collective effort to repair and restore the local ecosystem.

Leilanie Nadia, Head of Corporate Communication of PT Pyridam Farma Tbk, emphasized that this activity is part of the company’s long-term commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.

At the end of the event, a sense of emotion and pride surrounded the participants. Many young volunteers realized that small steps, such as picking up plastic waste or planting a single tree seedling, are the beginning of a big change. Although the action at Mount Munara lasted only a few hours, the seeds of awareness planted are expected to grow fertile alongside the trees that will provide shade for future generations.

Through PT Pyridam Farma Tbk’s support in this program, it is hoped that the message regarding the importance of protecting the earth can spread more widely, affirming that sustainability is the best legacy we can provide.

The cleanup and tree planting action carried out by PT Pyridam Farma Tbk (PYFA) is a tangible manifestation of the implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. This step is in line with the company’s commitment to providing a positive impact on the environment and sustainability. Previously, PYFA has also been active in various activities, including mangrove planting and tree planting at Mount Halimun Salak. In addition to external activities, internally at its factory facilities, PYFA implements environmental care through the implementation of strict water treatment systems and the use of renewable energy such as solar panels.

Lembaga Amil Zakat Al Azhar or LAZ Al Azhar is a Zakat Institution established by the Al Azhar Islamic Boarding School Foundation (YPI). This institution has an operational permit as a national-scale LAZ and was officially formed in 2004.
