(PYFA), also known by its brand PYFAGROUP, proudly announces the success of its Legal and Corporate Secretary division in winning an award at the prestigious 21st Annual Asian Legal Business South East Asia (ALB SE Asia) Law Awards 2025, organized by Asian Legal Business (ALB) by Thomson Reuters on May 22, 2025, in Shangri-La, Singapore.
The ALB SE Asia Law Awards is an annual event that recognizes the best law firms and in-house legal teams in Southeast Asia for their outstanding achievements in legal expertise, innovation, and business strategy. This competition is participated by renowned companies from various sectors and law firms across Southeast Asia, with stringent judging by an independent panel of legal experts and industry professionals.
In the awards ceremony, PYFA’s Legal and Corporate Secretary Team successfully won the award in the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical In-House Team of the Year category. In this category, PYFA competed with several prestigious finalists such as Align Technology, Buymed, Metro Pacific Health Corporation, and Zuellig Pharma. PYFA’s victory was achieved through an assessment of the detailed work submitted in 2024 as part of the selection process, which included professional achievements (in terms of the complexity of transactions involving multiple jurisdictions, industries, and areas of legal practice), as well as contributions to the company or the legal field.

Previously, PYFA’s Legal and Corporate Secretary team was also successfully shortlisted and listed as a finalist in the ALB Indonesia Law Awards 2024 for the Indonesia In-House Team of the Year and Manufacturing In-House Team of the Year categories.
This award serves as clear evidence of the dedication and excellence of PYFA’s Legal team in delivering innovative, strategic, and compliance-oriented legal solutions within the dynamic pharmaceutical, healthcare, and capital markets sectors. One significant contribution was their intensive involvement in the complex acquisition of Probiotec Pty Ltd in 2024 through a Scheme of Arrangement process, involving two public companies in two different jurisdictions, as well as several regulators and courts, culminating in the delisting process of Probiotec Pty Ltd.
