JAKARTA, August 28, 2026 – PT Pyridam Farma Tbk (IDX: PYFA) held its Public Exposure for the First Half of 2026 in Jakarta. PYFA reaffirmed the position of its Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) or contract manufacturing services as the Company’s primary growth driver in H1 2026. Based on un-audited interim consolidated financial statements, net revenue grew by 16.8% year-on-year to IDR 1.62 trillion from IDR 1.39 trillion in H1 2025. Meanwhile, operating loss narrowed by 99.4% to IDR 0.38 billion, nearing break-even at the operational level. Revenue growth was primarily driven by strong contributions from CDMO services in both Indonesia and Australia.
During the public exposure, PYFA’s Board of Directors highlighted that amid macroeconomic challenges, the Company successfully maintained healthy margin growth and reduced operational losses to near break-even through procurement efficiency strategies. Since completing the acquisition of Australia-based Probiotec in mid-2024, CDMO services have consistently anchored the Company’s revenue growth and strategic transformation over the past two years. By pairing Probiotec’s established global pharmaceutical partnerships with domestic manufacturing enhancements, PYFA built a cross-border CDMO platform that now serves as the backbone of its business. Probiotec’s facility in Kemps Creek, Australia, is fully operational and holds both Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) and Halal certifications, granting the Company direct access to global export markets.
Domestically, the Company strengthened its manufacturing platform through its subsidiary, PT Ethica Industri Farmasi. The Sterile Injection Production Facility (Line 3) was recently inaugurated and is scheduled to begin commercial production in early 2027, boosting overall sterile injection capacity. The Company is also exploring the addition of Line 4 and Line 5 featuring different dosage forms to meet future demand. Sterile injection remains a high-value segment with tight global supply capacity, reinforcing PYFA’s positioning as a credible capacity provider for global principals.
“Over the past two years, CDMO services have consistently served as the core foundation of the Company’s revenue growth. Our international-standard quality certifications and expanded manufacturing capacity have validated our commercial strategies, proving our ability to earn the trust of global principals. Moving forward, our focus remains on strengthening CDMO services and prioritizing high-license products to deliver the highest standards of public healthcare solutions,” said Antes Eko Prasetyo, Director of PYFA.
He emphasized that international certification standards provide the Company with a competitive edge to drive innovation and expand its treatment portfolio in critical therapeutic areas. This strategy responds directly to shifting demographic and lifestyle patterns driving the rise of non-communicable diseases, establishing a strong pipeline to penetrate the market for degenerative conditions.
This direction aligns with significant market opportunities. Indonesia stands as ASEAN’s largest pharmaceutical market valued at approximately USD 11 billion, while the global CDMO market is projected to reach around USD 275 billion by 2026, growing at 6–10% annually with Asia-Pacific as the fastest-growing region. Strong domestic demand combined with tight global CDMO capacity creates an ideal position for the capacity PYFA has developed.
Looking ahead, the Company continues to evaluate Line 4 and Line 5 expansions across distinct dosage forms to serve future demand. To accelerate market penetration, PYFA targets launching more than 15 new SKUs in 2026. PT Pyridam Farma Tbk remains committed to delivering high-value innovations, supported by group-wide implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based process automation to elevate operational productivity and efficiency in addressing dynamic domestic and global healthcare demands.
