PYFA Wins Three Awards at IDEAS 2026, Reaffirming Its Commitment to Sustainable ESG Practices

JAKARTA, July 10, 2026 – PT Pyridam Farma Tbk (PYFA) has reinforced its standing as one of Indonesia’s leading pharmaceutical companies for sustainability practice, taking home three awards at the 5th Indonesia DEI & ESG Awards (IDEAS) 2026. The company won Silver Winner honors in the ESG Communication Program category across all three subcategories — Environmental, Governance, and Social — placing PYFA among a select few companies recognized across all three ESG pillars simultaneously.

The awards were presented at the IDEAS 2026 ceremony held at Ambhara Hotel, South Jakarta, on Thursday, July 9, 2026. From a rigorous judging process, the panel selected 48 winners representing 26 institutions. PYFA’s winning entries were its Environmental Communication Program, the Gerakan Sejuta Vitamin (One Million Vitamins Movement) Communication Program, and its Governance Communication Program.

Asmono Wikan, CEO of PR Indonesia Group and a member of the judging panel, said entries were assessed on criteria including the quality of communication strategy, precision of stakeholder mapping, creativity in program execution, and the ability to measure impact.

“Good communication, in the end, is communication that creates change and delivers measurable benefit,” he said.

Leilanie Nadia Kusuma, Head of Corporate Communications at PYFA, said the achievement reflects the strength of the company’s integrated ESG communication strategy across online, offline, and hybrid channels in reaching stakeholders effectively.

“These three awards affirm that ESG communication at PYFA is more than reporting — it’s a movement that engages every stakeholder, from regulators and investors to healthcare workers and the public. We remain committed to keeping transparency and real impact at the core of every sustainability program we run,” said Leilanie.

Echoing that sentiment, PYFA Corporate Secretary Herdiasti Anggitya said the recognition reflects the company’s consistency in upholding transparent, accountable corporate governance.

“This award in the Governance category validates PYFA’s commitment to implementing governance with integrity across every part of our business, including at the subsidiary level. Investor and regulator trust is an asset we continue to protect through honest, consistent communication,” said Anggi.

On the Environmental pillar, PYFA runs programs built on Full Scope 3 standards and independent ESG ratings, and is the first Indonesian pharmaceutical company to hold a NABERS Carbon Rating at an international production facility (Probiotec, Australia). The program has cut greenhouse gas emissions intensity by 59%, channeled Rp10.2 billion in environmental investment, and recorded zero spill incidents.

On the Social pillar, the flagship Gerakan Sejuta Vitamin program has distributed more than one million units of vitamins every year since 2020 to vulnerable communities, in partnership with institutions including Indonesia’s Ministry of Health, the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (BPOM), the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), the Indonesian Medical Association (IDI), and various NGOs. The program also includes pharmacovigilance training for healthcare workers and humanitarian response following disasters in Greater Jakarta and Sumatra.

On the Governance pillar, PYFA maintained 100% compliance with disclosure requirements set by Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority (OJK) throughout the reporting period, holds more than four active international certifications (TGA Australia, Halal AIHCO, EU GMP, and ISO 45001), and received the Asian Legal Business Healthcare In-House Team of the Year award. The recognition adds to a string of ESG and sustainability awards PYFA has earned this year, including the 2025 SDGs Action Award (SAA) from Indonesia’s Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas) and Most Reputable Company recognition from SWA. Looking ahead, PYFA said it will continue to strengthen its ESG commitments as part of its long-term corporate policy.
